Haroldo Jacobovicz – The Force behind Horizon Telecom’s Outgrowth
Brazilian businessperson and civil engineer Haroldo Jacobovicz is the ultimate believer of information technology and leverages its transformative power for his firm’s daily use. He founded the Horizon Telecom, e-Governe Group, and the Horizon Datacentre, intending to compound technical expertise, human talent, and the best strategic assets to provide solutions to the current and future technological hindrances. These companies have instrumentally transformed both the private and public sectors in Brazil.
The Horizon Telecom has up-to-date equipment and boasts a 100% fiber network with multi-point superfluity. This growth from its inception in 2010 led to the establishment of Horizons Datacentre in 2020, a comprehensive strategy to bring cloud services to more institutions everywhere.
Born of two civil engineer-parents, Jacobovicz grew up in this trajectory, graduating from the Federal University of Parana with a degree in civil engineering. While still in school, he started the Microsystem company with three of his friends, and although this idea saw many of his rainy days, Haroldo Jacobovicz carried his lessons on. Coupled with the initial experience and his parents’ inspiration, he followed his dream of delving into the field of information technology.

Esso (ExxonMobil) was his fast employer, equipping him in the market analysis field that would later see him become head of the commercial strategy. Haroldo Jacobovicz was slowly but surely making connections and networks that would later be of noble service to him. He later worked at Itaipu Binational before launching e-Governe in 1990 and Horizons Telecom twenty years later.
Today, the Brazilian public sector benefits from the company’s top priority services; internet, data, data storage, backup support, and voice solutions. These solutions provide a fully digital network architecture with multiple redundancies, integrated cloud services for improved client use.
Haroldo Jacobovicz suggests self-improvement practices for any businessperson to remain productive in every season. This could be through surrounding yourself with valuable social networks, extensive reading and staying up to date with current affairs, traveling to open yourself to newer perspectives, and prioritizing social events like family time to achieve ultimate fulfillment.
